Tyler Adams commits to Blue Devils

When the National Champion comes calling it's hard to say no, and that proved to be the case for Tyler Adams.
Coach K himself paid a visit to the Magnolia state on last week to personally check in with Adams, the 6-foot-9 junior center from Brandon High School, and he seems to have made quite an impression as the No. 81 ranked player in Rivals Class of 2011 rankings committed to Duke on Sunday night.

"Tyler grew up understanding what kind of program Duke had and he likes the way they develop players." Said Lonnie Adams, Tyler's father, "We also liked the way they went about recruited him. They all stress life and being a great man more than they stress being a great basketball player. "
Adams, who plays summer ball with the Jackson Tigers, also had offers from Mississippi State, Alabama, Memphis, Clemson and Baylor.
Adams is the second prospect in Mississippi's loaded Class of 2011 to commit joining Ladarius White who committed to Ole Miss a couple of weeks ago.
