No. 8 Wayne County at No. 11 Petal

Wayne County will roll into Petal Saturday night in the season opener for both

games. Petal will be led by it's dandy dozen quarterback Anthony Alford. Wayne County will need a good game from Ladarien Sims.

Keys to the Victory: Petal has a very good quarterback in Alford. Alford has the arm strength and speed to give nightmares to the Wayne County defense. Sims and Gary Myers are going to need to contain Alford. The best way to do that is to use strategically planned blitzes to counter act the scrambling ability of the talented signal caller. If the War Eagles can blitz effectively, the offense should play well enough to get a victory.

Key Match-ups: Dueling quarterbacks will be the best match up to watch. Chuck Lacey of Wayne County will have to start the season off right for the War Eagles.

Prediction: The War Eagles will win a close one.
