Lehaman commits to MTSU

The first commitment for Mississippi's hoops class of 2013 dropped last week as Amanda Elzy's Rahkeem Lehaman pledged to attend Middle Tennessee State and play for head coach Kermit Davis.
Lehaman is an athletic 6'4" wing who excels at acrobatic finishes around the rim but who is also a solid shooter and a good ballhandler, even able to swing to the point for short stretches. He has high major athleticism and possesses a huge upside.

Lehaman is currently the no. 5 ranked senior in Mississippi in the Mississippi Hoop Report class of 2013 player rankings and is the top ranked guard/wing in the class. Mississippi has proved to be a fertile recruiting ground for the Blue Raiders as this marks the fifth straight year Middle Tennessee has signed a prep or JUCO player from the Magnolia State.
Lehaman is Middle Tennessee State's first commitment for the class of 2013. He chose the Blue Raiders over interest from Murray State, Southern Mississippi, South Alabama, Morehead State, Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State.
