JCJC athletes honored

ELLISVILLE--At the annual Jones County Junior College Spring Athletic Banquet, outstanding Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Golf, Tennis athletes and Cheerleaders were honored for their achievements. One athlete from each sport received the Bobcat Award, which epitomizes the spirit of Jones County Junior College and exhibits sportsmanship, athleticism, and character. The Presidential Scholar Athlete Award was given to the top female and male athletes with the highest GPA. The students chosen as All-State and All-Region athletes were also honored.

Women's Basketball: Pauline Love of Luxor, Arkansas received All State, All Region 23, All Region 23-Tournament Team, and NJCAA 2nd Team All American.
