Brandon 61 St. Stanislaus 58 2OT
This was the best game of the day as despite trailing for the majority of the game the Bulldogs were able to pull even and force overtime, not once, but twice before pulling out the win in the second OT. In what was expected to be a battle between a pair of Dandy Dozen frontcourt players, Air Force Academy signee Daniel Grieves of St. Stanislaus and Georgetown signee Tyler Adams of Brandon the spot light was stolen by UT-Chattanooga signee Octavious Brown whose 21 points and clutch baskets keyed the Bulldogs victory, none of which was bigger than the contested three pointer he hit with seconds left in regulation to force the first overtime. Adams scored 11 despite constant double teaming. For the Rock-A-Chaws, Grieves matched Brown with 21 points and Arkansas State signee Johnny Zuppardo scored 16.
Callaway 49 Vicksburg 45 OT
In a low scoring nip and tuck contest Dandy Dozen guard Deville Smith scored 24 points, including a clutch buzzer beating three pointer at the end of regulation to force overtime, to lead the Chargers to a win in a battle between ranked teams. Vicksburg was lead by senior guard Dominique Brown with 14 points while the Gators' high scoring, Dandy Dozen forward and South Alabama signeeMychal Ammons was held to 10 points.
